My thoughts/reaction to the Uvalde Shooting —

I don’t have children…though one day I’d like to. Three, if I can afford it.

Maybe that’s why it’s so hard for me to imagine it. I go cold and painful goosebumps erupt down my arms.

What must those parents be feeling. What must any parent be feeling.

Waking up, a regular morning. The coffee heating up in the back as you pour your child’s favorite cereal into a colorful bowl. Your child smiles a gap-toothed grin, and shows you their completed…
