Death, My Neighbor.

Hell broke loose, and I found myself living in a nightmare. A nightmare called 2021.
It’s numbing, really. That’s the best way to describe it. That feeling of growing used to grief. That feeling when you get accustomed to the sinking horror associated with death. That feeling when you roll your eyes, take a deep breath, and mutter through clenched teeth “Great. Who died this time?”
From March 2021 until today, Death claimed 11 of my own. Some may say that’s a lot. Many, less fortunate, will say I’m lucky — only 11.
